We are a group of students concerned that the UNT police have behaved inappropriately in regard to sexual assault and have fostered an overall attitude of disrespect towards the student body. We want this blog to be a source of information on students' rights, as well as a place for students to speak out about police misconduct. We hope to serve as an informal, public archive of student complaints. If you would like to share your story, resources, or advice, please email us at unt.sfpa@gmail.com. We will publish it anonymously, and attempt to share appropriate resources in the hope that we can help people in similar situations. We only ask that the comments are about police abuse or misconduct, not simply technicalities about your case. Together we can work towards building a community with an accountable police force.
